Sunday 10th May 2020 – Classics at Prescott
Bugatti Owners' Club, Prescott Hill, Gotherington, Cheltenham, Glos. GL52 9RD
This event is organised by Winchcombe Rotary Club and is open to classic car owners who wish to "Drive the Hill" or take part in a static display.
Rennsport will have a stand at this event, close to trackside and we would love to see you there.
Spectators are welcome and can gain entry for a donation of £15 per car and passengers.
- Prescott is situated in the mid-west area of England, in the beautiful Cotswold hills, to the north of Cheltenham and close to the pretty town of Winchcombe. It’s about 100 miles north-west of London.
- In 1937, inspired by a few dedicated Vintage Sports Car Club and Bugatti Owner’s Club members, Prescott House and Estate was acquired for the purpose of creating a permanent hill-climb course.
- The original [‘short’] course was 880 yards, still used today by the VSCC, but the 1127 yards ‘long’ course, introduced in 1960, is the one used now for all other events.
- Proceeds from the event are used by the Rotary Clubs to support local, national and international charities and almost £250,000 has been raised since the event was first run 16 years ago.
